What Did Ring Brothers bring to SEMA 2024?
Sema 2024 was nothing short of amazing as usual, preparing Ring Brothers builds for 3 big unveils. Every year we meet to sand, polish, and detail these cars for the big week, and towards the end, David Heller of CenterScene comes to take pictures.
David is always super awesome and shares his great photography for us to highlight these great builds for you. Let's check out the 3 amazing vehicles Ring Brothers reveiled at SEMA just a couple weeks ago.
Tuka: The Custom Chevy K5 Blazer
The first project was a Chevy K5 Blazer named Tuka—a nickname derived from the phrase "took a lot of time, took a lot of money." This custom masterpiece blends innovation and creativity with every inch being meticulously designed.
- Key Features:
- Custom Toyota Tacoma frame.
- King Shocks
- 6.2 LS3 motor delivering 525 HP, paired with a Bowler Tru-Street GM 4L60E transmission.
- A one-of-a-kind top fabricated from three vehicles: a Jeep Wrangler rear section, modern Blazer roof, and more.
- 3700 labor hours
- BASF Glaurit Galactic Black paint
- Custom HRE Wheels
- Baer Brakes
The frame setup on this truck is super unique, and the top really sets it off. While everything on this truck is amazng, the interior really is amazing.
Refining this truck’s paint was a challenge we approached differently. Myself (David Patterson), Dan Smith, and Matty Arendt used a combination of 2000, 2500, and 3000 grit paper for a refined, show-stopping finish. Check out the full process on the Oberk YouTube channel.
Unfortunetly, we didn't photograph this truck as we sanded and polished it prior to it being shipped to california for the interior. We did document this truck in video so make sure you stay tuned for the youtube channel. For a closer look with detailed pictures check out the article here - tons of great images of all the detils

Infected: The Vibrant 1970 Cuda

The second build was the head-turning 1970 Plymouth Cuda aptly named Infected. Its crazy pink exterior is a custom twist on a factory color, complemented by a sleek white leather interior.
- Highlights:
- Powered by a Red Eye Hellcat engine with custom “Pink-eye” covers.
- Baer brakes match the white aesthetic behind custom HRE wheels.
- The wheelbase has been stretched for a balanced, aggressive stance.
This build featured tons of carbon fiber details and billet parts, like the Ringbrothers hood hinges. We refined this car using 2500 and 3000 grit, achieving an incredible mirror-like finish. For a detailed breakdown, watch the Hard Up Garage YouTube channel. Connor of CH. Detailing lent a hand making sure this one looked top notch.

1987 Buick Grand National: A Subtle Yet Powerful Masterpiece
The final build was a 1987 Buick Grand National that pushed the limits of performance and design. While maintaining its nostalgic essence, this car received extensive upgrades.
- Engine and Performance:
- Fully built factory V6 engine tuned to an astounding 1246 HP.
- Built by the legendary Duttweiler Performance.
- Design Highlights:
- A widened body with an OEM-inspired pearl graphite finish.
- Custom HRE wheels, carbon ceramic brakes, and carbon fiber accents.
- RS chassis with Penske shocks for unparalleled handling.
Favorite part of this car is that it can product 2000hp on a v6 engine, but also the carbon ceramic Brembo Brake kit.
Our team polished this car using 2500, 3000, and refined to 5000 grit, ensuring sharp edges were cleaned and polished to perfection. Watch the Oberk YouTube VLOG for behind-the-scenes footage.
The interior on this was really cool. It was completely custom, yet retained the feel of the oem styling and feel. I really liked the Invader logo also.
The only part of the exterior that was carbon was the hood and the rear spointer, so the carbon dash and interior pieces really tied it all together. It's really hard to call out customization when it comes to these cars because so much has been changed that its hard to even comprehend or begin to share in text. Even the most basic and subtle parts to these cars have been completely redesigned and the average person would never know unless the specific chassis was something you were really educated or even an expert in. HardUpGarage on youtube is really intune with eyeing out all the details and makes great videos where he goes over them during the week at SEMA. Make sure you check his stuff out.
Each year, working with the Ringbrothers is an honor, and 2024 was no exception. From sanding and refining to the final polish, every detail of these builds was meticulously perfected. Be sure to follow the Oberk YouTube channel for exclusive VLOGs documenting the SEMA 2024 journey.
We can’t wait to see what the next year holds!
