Matt Moreman from Obsessed Garage fame has combined forces with the Gtechniq team, led by Jim Hutton, to correct a 427 Shelby kit car. The Shelby paint was over 20+ years old and was in desperate need of heavy correction. If you haven't seen Obsessed Garage before, be sure to click the link. Matt has great break downs of tried and true processes that are truly, obsessive. We are big fans of his selective process on the products he chooses.

The corrected car will be auctioned off at the Shamrockin' For A Cure Event in pursuit of a cure for Cystic Fibrosis. Be sure to visit them where you can give the Gift of Hope - there is always time to donate.

Obsessed Garage: Paint Correcting the Worst
Condition Car I've Ever Polished

The team got some great footage of using the Oberk Car Care system in what can only be considered as pretty transformative. If you are a veteran, or new to paint correction, be sure to watch this video as Jim Hutton gives his expert opinion on how to handle finicky paint on a heat resistant surface such as fiberglass.

Shelby cobra 50/50

The team broke down the paint into a nice 2 x 1' section to get a test spot using the Oberk 2-step system and additional mid-step of Meguiars complimented by an Oberk yellow pad.

Thanks for sharing the video. Had a question as I was under the impression that this Matt person from OG was pretty experienced and possessed a high skill level when it came to paint correction and detailing in general? Was this video taken recently or is it an older video? Thanks
